THE WYD WILL BE DIVIDED INTO 2 STAGES:
The first stage will be the Verbum Dei International Youth Encounter from the 11th to 15th August, 2011 in Siete Aguas, Valencia. The cost will be 120 euros (food and accommodation) and an extra 50 euros (transport from the airport in Madrid to Siete Aguas and from Siete Aguas to Madrid).
The second stage will be the WYD with the Pope from the 15th to 21st August, 2011 in Madrid. The cost for the official WYD has been assigned to each country respectively and can be viewed on the official website: www.jmj2011madrid.com/inscribete
LA JORNADA MUNDIAL SE DIVIDIRÁ EN DOS ETAPAS:
La Primera, nuestro Encuentro mundial de jóvenes VD será del 11 al 15 de agosto en Siete Aguas, Valencia .
El costo es de 120 euros (hospedaje y alimentación) y 50 euros (transporte del aeropuerto de Madrid a Siete Aguas y de Siete Aguas a Madrid).
La segunda etapa será el Encuentro con el papa, del 15 al 21 de agosto en Madrid. El costo ha sido asignado a cada país, según la distribución hecha por el equipo organizador JMJ, y lo podéis ver en la siguiente página: www.jmj2011madrid.com/inscribete
THE VISAS
Everyone who wants to come to the WYD must apply for a visa in their respective diocese, with their respective Bishop. In each Diocese they will have a list to which they will be adding the names of people and groups who will be coming to WYD. This was decided by the Spanish Government and the Church in Spain. It is in your interest that you obtain information from your diocese. The community in Spain will not be able to supply personal visas or papers for the consulates.
Se realizarán a través del obispo de vuestra ciudad. Todos los que deseéis venir al encuentro debéis solicitarlo en vuestros arzobispados, donde irán añadiendo a una lista los nombres de las personas (y grupos) que van a venir. Esto ha sido determinado por el gobierno y la Iglesia en España. Conviene que os informéis en cada una de vuestras diócesis. La Comunidad en España no podrá realizar visados personales, ni papeleos en consulados.
TOURISM AND EXTRA ACCOMMODATION
It may be that some people will want to take advantage to sightsee in Spain while they are here, or visit another neighbouring country. This will be at your own expense and each group that plans to come before the 11th August, or stay after the 21st August, must look for their own accommodation and cover all of their own costs. The accommodation and food in Siete Aguas will only be provided from the 11th August. We ask that you respect this date in a strict manner.
VISITAS TURÍSTICAS Y ALOJAMIENTO EXTRA
Puede ser que algunos de vosotros, queráis aprovechar para conocer España o algún país vecino. El hospedaje, transporte y alimentación que no corresponda a los días del Encuentro, corre por cuenta vuestra. Todo grupo que planee venir antes del 11 o quedarse después del 21, deberá buscar hospedaje y cubrir sus gastos. La acogida y hospedaje en Siete Aguas empezará SOLO A PARTIR DEL 11 de agosto. Os pedimos respetar esta fecha de manera estricta.
PREPARATORY ACTIVITIES
Thirty young people met in Loeches to talk about the WYD in 2011. Kylie, Frances and Paula shared with us their experiences of the Verbum Dei International Youth Encounter in Sydney, 2008. We became aware of all the work and preparation behind the encounter. It will take a lot of strength and energy to make this encounter attractive for all of our brothers and sisters in Verbum who want to spend these days with us.
Una treintena de jóvenes se dieron cita en Loeches, tratamos sobre el próximo encuentro con el Papa en el 2011. Kyle, Francis y Paula nos transmitieron sus experiencias en el Encuentro Mundial de la Juventud de Sidney en el verano del 2008. Tomamos conciencia del trabajo y la preparación que hay detrás. Esperamos volcarnos para hacer esta cita muy atractiva para todos nuestros hermanos de la Familia Verbum Dei que quieran pasar esos días con nosotros.
